Modern World

5: 24
The bottle is almost empty

I can't sleep at night
I can't live my life believing those lies
Remembering the good old days

Back when we were more than puppets
in the hands of the ill-intentioned "humans"

What in the world happened to honesty? Rightness?

It's almost 6: 30
I've turned off the lamps
I've counted all the lambs
But nothing seems to work for me

I keep seeing scars
I keep seeing the entire world bleeding and tortured

I can't believe the things we're doing to each other
I can't accept being so irrational
I won't spend my life hurting all my brothers
I'll try my way to change the world
Until we stop living in vain

8 in the morning
I feel like walking in the rain... without shoes

You know... I miss all that joy we used to feel
'Cause today nothing is real
This life was just imposed on me

I cannot feel the sun
I cannot feel the breeze
Because of this so-called "modern world"

What happened to me?
What happened to you?
We still can change and save the world
There's no need to be blue

I still believe in what we can do to each other
I still believe we can be rational
I will spend my life singing with my brothers
Until the time we can be aware
And stop ruining the world
