The Circus

I watch the circus arrive
And why do I dream of my demise?
I know you feel it, that something not right
As far as feelings go

All these predictable lies
They stick in my throat
And in the light of no solution
Well, something's not right
So let your feelings grow

I don't recall
Who let them reign
When I see their throne
Is crumbling
I should be more than something you conquer
And I don't recall who let them reign
But you can't run your kingdom from the grave
What have they done?
What are they taking away in our name?

I watch the circus arrive
And I can see bloodlust in their eyes
But I know that you feel it, that something's not right
As far as feeling go.
And all these predictable lies
They stick in my throat
And in the light of no solution
Well, something's not right
So let your feelings grow

And I don't recall
Who let them reign
When I see their throne
Is crumbling
I should be more than something you conquer
And I don't recall who let them reign
But you can't run your kingdom from the grave
What have they done?
What are they taking away in our name?
