On "Sway"
Sway is one of many tracks that thrives from a collaboration with guitarist Mick Taylor
I just had this tune and just knocked it out really quickly
It's just me and Mick and Bill and Charlie
I think Keith was not there or we did it before he came, arrived at the studio
And I think it was done in Olympic
And yeah, Mick really makes the track take off in my opinion
He was really easy to work with
If I would just jam something on the guitar, he would just pick up on it really quickly
And we probably cut this track just a couple of times
And we've done this track on stage recently where he's played you know, elongated solos
And very sort of lyrical kind of style of playing
Yeah, it's really good
Does this one have strings in it as well even?
I think it does
And that was a good touch to put strings on which were really booked for probably Moonlight Marble
We sort of chucked them on this as well to add a little bit more sort of textures to it
