Forever (feat. Playboy Tre)

Nothing is forever, is it?
Nothing is forever, is it?
Nothing is forever, is it?
So 'til I die, I'll be forever livin'

Started with my pockets slim (started with my pockets slim)
Now I got a lot of 'M's (bands, bands, bands, bands)
They see me and they know it's him (they know, they know, they know, they know)
Oh they, oh they know it's him
I'm so high, I don't even get high no more (damn, I don't even get high)
I'm so fly, I don't even look down no more
I'm so out there, I'm not going out no more (don't even go out)
Niggas still hate, I don't even know why no more (man, fuck this niggas)

I don't know why (I don't know), I don't know why (I don't know)
These niggas lame (lame) and I don't know why (I don't know)
I don't know why (I don't know), I don't know why (I don't know)
We ain't the same (no sir) and I don't know why

'Cause nothing is forever, is it?
Nothing is forever, is it?
No, nothing is forever, is it?
So 'til I die, I'll be forever livin'

Uh, motherfuck your opinion, I'll show you where you can stick it (ok)
I swear they worse than these bitches, all these niggas got feelings (you bitch)
They say I got too many women, but I'm just keepin' it pimpin' (untouched)
The way she mastered that P, I guess she keep it No Limit
Now watch me get ignorant, roof with no ceiling, smoking on "Hilary"
Me, I'm so different, I just stand out, these niggas be blending in
They say I'm too "pop," they say I'm too "hood", now that's a predicament
But as you can see, the path that I'm on, success is just imminent

But at least I know I'm on alert (alert, alert, alert, alert)
And I know I know I've got my worth (my worth, my worth, my worth, my worth)
You see, there's snakes out there, and they sure are lurkin'
(See, there's snakes out there, and they sure are lurkin')
'Cause this life ain't fair and it sure ain't perfect

I don't know why (I don't know), I don't know why (I don't know)
These niggas lame (lame) and I don't know why (I don't know)
I don't know why (I don't know), I don't know why (I don't know)
We ain't the same (no sir) and I don't know why

'Cause nothing is forever, is it?
It sure as fuck ain't television
No, nothing is forever, is it?
So 'til I die, I'll be forever livin'

Yeah, everybody's talking like they're so cold (so cold)
But when this shit jumps off, they ain't tough no more (oh no, oh, no)
All my white friends are like, "You soft bro!"
And all my black friends, you know them, they be like, "Fuck them lying-ass hoes!"
Nothing lasts forever, so why are they hating?
I don't have a clue, nigga's wanna brag about money?
Guess what nigga, we've got money too
Treboy, Playboy, you can call me Christian's dad
And if you freak wanna try to jump down
I'ma leap off of that lilly pad, yeah

I don't know why (I don't know), I don't know why (I don't know)
These niggas lame (lame) and I don't know why (I don't know)
I don't know why (I don't know), I don't know why (I don't know)
We ain't the same (no sir) and I don't know why

'Cause nothing is forever, is it?
It sure as fuck ain't television
No, nothing is forever, is it?
So 'til I die, I'll be forever livin'

You called this album Underground Luxury, innit?
Being an underground king, it would be really easy for me to draw
A conclusion of what that would mean to be me (yeah)
But what does Underground Luxury means to B.o.B?

To me, Underground Luxury is taking that which could be dimmed as a miserable situation
Or that which somebody won't want and make it something luxurious
You know, it's like someone could grow up in a community where there is a lot of crime
A lot of murders but you know, they take something and make it art
You know, I saw this picture of a girl who took scrap metal
I think she was like in Afghanistan or Iraq

She took scrap metal and made jewelry out of it, you know what I'm say?
And I think that's, I think that's Underground Luxury, you know what I mean?
But at the same time, I'm telling you what it is and what it means to me
So you can identify what it is (right, 'cause it is proportional)
(Whether they got more than you or less than you) yeah, exactly
(Everybody has their own level) yes (of Underground Luxury)
