Baby Sittin' Santa
Ah ha ha ha ho ho ho...
(Baby gibberish)
Well Santa Claus was making like a chimney sweep
Instead of finding everybody fast asleep
He saw this baby coming fast as it could creep
A-saying: (baby gibberish)
"Well this will never do" is what old Santa said
"This time of night a baby oughta be in bed"
The lil' feller lifted up his tiny head
And went: (baby gibberish)
But Santa looked around to find a toy
And that would make the little baby jump for joy
But the baby would break every toy that he'd take
A-saying: (baby gibberish)
At the bottom of his bag there was a radio
He brought it out and tuned it to a DJ show
When the baby heard the singers shouting "Go man, go!"
He said: (baby gibberish)
(Baby gibberish)
Now let me tell you if you think there's any doubt
That Santa Claus is hip to what it's all about
Just see him and the baby start to twist and shout
- "Yeah man!"
- "I like that!"
And then in the middle of a guitar ride
He remembered 'bout the reindeer and the snow outside
He said "Well, I really oughta go"
And the baby cried
And yet although he felt it really was a sin
Santa had a lot to do before the daylight came
And as he left he asked the baby "what's my name?"
The baby said: "You're my daddy!"
(Baby gibberish)
Well Santa Claus was making like a chimney sweep
