Overlook Road

I've learned a lot on this road so far.
I've built it up just to watch it fall.
And even when life is oh so cruel,
I'm right at home just to be with you.
But even when the brightest lights are darkest as the night.
You think about me when you close your eyes I'm right in sight.
My home is right here deep inside of each and all of you.
A special place to find escape reshape the world you knew.

My overlook road
Oh my overlook road

I open my eyes and I see this nightmare
Wide awake but I am filled with fear
Inside my dreams I can hear your screams
And it kills me to know that they were caused by me
I get into my car, hoping to get away
I think about it every second of every day
I cannot stay here where I always feel so alone
I need to find a place, a place to call my home
Can't you help me see the right pth to take
All my life I've been looking for escape

I'll never take it for granted.
Where I can lay my head at.
Overlook your problems and see it's right in front of you.
No matter where you go
Changes, highs and low you know
A thought of you can make me feel right at home

Help me find home
A place to call my own
Where I don't feel alone
