One of the things that I wanted everybody in the room to, uh
Realize was that, for us, being here right now is, um, beyond an honor for us
We've been, uh, very much anxious about finally being able to come here
And for us, it's really overwhelming at the moment, I must admit, um
And for, for me and, I know, for Nick and Mr. Kerch, um
We all feel as if music is universal, that's the way we've always looked at it

So when we finally got the opportunity to come here
We were blown away by the fact that: (a) we were getting to do it
And also when we found out that all of you, tonight, were going to be here
Just the fact that you're here right now is an incredible honor
I know I'm saying "thank you" a lot
But it means a great deal to me that you guys are here, and you ladies, um

This next song was, uh, was a difficult one to write as well, um

A very good friend of mine was going through a divorce
And he could not get down his feelings about what was happening to him
Because he was losing the person that he loved
But this was one part of his life that was going to end
So I wrote how I believe he felt down in a song
And he's told me before after he heard the song that
