Fallen Angel
I captured an angel as she fell to earth
Her wing was broken her pulse near still but for what it's worth
She was the world's most beautiful angel that I had ever seen
But as she died her eyes opened wide, this was all a dream
There's no such thing as angels no matter what it seems
There's no such thing as angels they exist only in dreams
Later that very morning I entered that same dream
And like before through an open door I heard her distant scream
There was my fallen angel writhing in open pain
And as I tried to comfort her, she summoned out my name
There's no such thing as angels no matter what it seems
There's no such thing as angels they exist only in dreams
There's no such thing as angels no matter what it seems
There's no such thing as angels they exist only in dreams
