Buttons to Push the Buttons

Piglet has whiskers but know it could laugh right off the desk
Laptop computers know it was the fodder that got them jobs
Featherweight fathers know nothing 'bout daughters, and sons be damned

The rest of the buttons are pushing themselves to an early grave
Partial schemes, pleasure schemes, business schemes, pleasure swells
We all got jobs

Blind-spot opinions reached millions of readers, and they passed for thoughts

My fear of growing up confirmed
When I deal with folks like managers
And the sad minds unwind
And I'm given to thoughts of happiness

And the broke heart breaks loud
It was given those thoughts of happiness
