This is Cody Carson of Set it Off
Here to give you the details and behind the scenes information
Of our brand new album, Duality
In this track by track I wanna do something a little different
That we've never done before
Now, on my phone, every time I write
I always begin writing uh, on my iPhone in the voice memo app
And it just so happens that I was able to dig through
And find a lot of the voice memos
that actually became what these songs are now
So what I'd love to do is show you how this songs started
What they used to be
And what they actually became
On top of that there's some things
That if I didn't tell you about them
You might not actually notice it within the record
Like little hidden things
Little Easter eggs here and there
So I'm really exited to show you about that
And, of course,
In true track by track fashion
We are gonna tell you about how we got our, uh
Amazing guest vocalists, William Beckett, Jason Lancaster
And of course tell you what these songs actually mean to us
What the lyrics are about
And what the general message is behind our record Duality
