Lucky Man
One day somebody told me that I was a lucky man
Didn't understand why, cause I didn't feel the same
But what does "luck" really mean?
Do I have something different, makes me avoid bad things?
One day somebody told me that I was a lucky man
I thought she was wrong, cause I do have my problems
But what does "problems" really mean?
Starting to think about it and my conclusion is
I'm a lucky man because I've got a roof over my head
Because I don't know the sound of bombs exploding my ears
Today I'm telling myself that I'm a lucky man
I've got two arms and two legs and live in a free land
I know what "luck" really means
And try to honour each day, with what life gives to me
I'm a lucky man because my only love is in good health
Because I don't know the torture, of a daily life with the disease
Don't need to thank God cause I don't believe in him
I just want to thank fate for having been born here
My parents for creating who I am today
My eyes when seeing the sun rise everyday
I'm a lucky man because I've got a family and friends
'cause people everywhere on Earth are just waiting for the end
Waiting for the end
Waiting for the end
