A Light Will Shine

Black is drawing in
The air is getting thin
I'm fighting with myself
I always take one on the chin
What I have is all I asked for
I never wanted more
Still I fear I'm in this darkend room
And I can't find the door
When you look to the sky, see the warming glow of red light
Is it a sign, that heaven's near, or that hell's already here
Out of the darkness dawn is breaking
(A light will shine)
Even through the black, a light will shine
(A light will shine)
Brought me to my knees and left me aching
(A light will shine)
And I thank you for the hand you offered mine
But only I can save me
In my own air I drown
My knees are on the ground
Digging my own hole and I'm already 3 feet down
To where the eyes upon my head, it's taken
Hell was underneath
Body weight is bound to gravitate, unless I struggle free
When you look to the sky, see the warming glow of red light

Out of the darkness dawn is breaking
(A light will shine)
Even through the black, a light will shine
(A light will shine)
Brought me to my knees and left me aching
(A light will shine)
And I thank you for the hand you offered mine
But only I can save me
When you look to the sky, see the warming glow of red light
Is it a sign, that heaven's near, or that hell is here
[Solo]
When you look to the sky, see the warming glow of red light
Is it a sign, that heaven's near, or that hell's already here
Out of the darkness dawn is breaking
(A light will shine)
Even through the black, a light will shine
(A light will shine)
Brought me to my knees and left me aching
(A light will shine)
And I thank you for the hand you offered mine
But only I can save me
(A light will shine)
Only I can save me
(A light will shine)
