Wonderful

T's been a long night and I've got one thing on my mind
And though it seems trite it's the best I can describe
How I'm feeling at the journey's bitter end
Awake as this thought comes flooding back again
Like an old friend
Such a simple revelation to behold
But not a single chance it ever could be told
Through the silence and a multitude of sound
My heart of darkness brightened up by leaps and bounds
Sing it out loud
Here's the bottom line
Life is simply wonderful in every single way
Don't knock it til you try
Would that everyone could feel this every single day
That life is A-OK
And rootin' tootin' gosh darn wonderful
Can't think of anything else to say

And so I look back on the movies that we made
It's a shame that all the stories seem to fade
In my minds eye
But I know there was a seed that was planted
And watered by the dreams of infinity and

Here's the bottom line
Life is simply wonderful in every single way
You may criticize but
Would that everyone could feel this every single day
That life is A-OK
And rootin' tootin' gosh darn wonderful
Can't think of anything else to say

Except for this it's more than bliss with joy and sorrow in the mix
Would never believe that I could feel so really real
And all my pain and suffering is wrapped up like a candy cane with
Rainbows and carousels and butterflies and unicorns
