Well Done

Daddy used to build things out of wood
He loved the finished product it always turned out good
He'd sweat for countless hours no help from anyone
He found his satisfaction in a job well done

I finally helped my daddy when I was twelve years old
A friends yard needed fencin he let me dig the holes
Underneath the maple tree before we had our lunch
He blessed the food with a smile and said son

Job well done way to go
I couldn't have done it without you now we're goin home
Your hard work and devotion make me proud of you son
That a boy job well done
