Mulberry
During the war I was evacuated to the country and I used to go and get Mulberries from the Mulberry bush so that I could feed my younger brother and sister and myself.
And I just remember that feeling of reaching the sky and the fields and the bush, the Mulberry bush.
I was alone and just picking.
It is getting a bit cold, though the sky is still blue because the sun is going down behind the mountains.
And I was feeling a bit frightened because they said there were many ghosts in the field and I was a little girl and had to go back home all by myself.
It's getting dark...
So this is how I did the Mulberry song...
(repeats "mulberry" from now on)
