Lips Are Silent

When I was walking in the cool air
With no straws to clutch in sight
When I saw the strange but perfect vision
Right among the shimmering light
And now the gaze her eyes would give me
Send shivers down my spine
I watched her walk through crowded streets
My intentions only follow her in time

Lips are silent
Eyes revealing
Although our lips are close they're not concealing
But we're thinking what we're feeling
Like when our lips are silent, eyes revealing

Now I sometimes feel alone
And so I mostly walk alone
But just one look into her eyes
And all those years would be faded and be gone
So I followed her a bit further
Just like a child that seeks its toy
I never thought a total stranger
Could have this kind of effect upon a boy

But suddenly I turn the corner
And found that she was gone
I knew I'd never find such eyes
In years and worlds to come
