Movies Are Mother to Me

The movies are a mother to me
there's nothing like a movie
to move me back to sanity
when I've gone insane

A rainy Tuesday or a Saturday night
when I messes with me and then we start a fight
we both head for the flicks
things come out alright
we both enjoy that show

when two brothers get bad and push each other around
a mother can say things straight
she can handle her boys
mum can calm them down
she's got that special trait

sometimes I am my own enemy
sometimes my own enemy it is me
then, my enemy and me go see a good movie
we come out friends again

there's nothing like the silver screen
to patch things up, to intervine
to bridge the gap that lies between
Loudon and himself
