Catastrofuk - commentary
Now, 'Catastrofuk', this first song
It started off with a chorus that said
"Hello to the future, goodbye to the past"
It was in the middle of recording an entirely different song
So, instead of finishing two songs, I put 'em both together
And you know, uh, when you get antsy in the studio
Um, and you're waiting for your engineer to finish prepping tracks on the song
I'm supposed to be recording
I get fidgety and I sit down at the broken baby grand
And I started constructing the melody line
And, then it became a guitar song
So that switched and that's exactly what the song is about
Is switching around, nothing ever fits quite the way it's meant to
But, that's how I like it, happy accidents
To everybody, do have a happy accident day, once a week
I need like several days a week of happy accidents
