Child of Light

When you walk in the dark
When you're fighting temptation
Just remember the crown God has reserved for you above

When you're lost the dark
You can conquer temptation
You have been raised with Christ,
Set your heart on the things above,

Put aside the darkness You're a child of light
Put away desires clothe your self with Christ

Run from all kinds of sin,
Don't be faithless and heartless
Don't indulge upon lies, alcohol, drugs, and faithless talk.

Do not sin with your flesh
Cause your body is a temple
You were bought at a price
Therefore you got to honor God

You were washed and sanctified you're justified
Keep on living by the Spirit child of light

So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord,
That you must no longer live as the Gentiles do,
In the futility of their thinking.
They are darkened in their
understanding and separated from the life of God
Because of ignorance that is in them
due to the hardening of their hearts.
Having lost all sensitivity,
they have given themselves over to sensuality
So as to indulge in every kind of
impurity, with a continual lust for more.

Desire when conceived it just gives birth to sin
And death will come when sin's full grown
Not what you need

Always conquer darkness You're a child of light
Put away desires clothe yourself with Christ.
