Ocean
We all live in glass houses
Yet these rocks always bounce off the walls
This reality feels so unreal
There's no shattered glass on the floor
I'm shouting at the top of my lungs
But I'm hearing next to no response
I thought there would be a way to escape
But I was wrong
I sleep with one eye open
And won't turn my back
I can't find it within myself to build the courage that I lack
This sand can't be turned to glass
The waves are turning far too fast
I'm swept away with the tide
But I always wonder why
My body is confined
So to is my mind
They say if you're weak you cry
Does that mean I have to lie
All I feel is the cold
When I step out my comfort zone
All I feel is the cold
When did I become so alone
I sleep with one eye open
And won't turn my back
I can't find it within myself to build the courage that I lack
This sand can't be turned to glass
The waves are turning far too fast
I'm swept away with the tide
But I always wonder why
The choices we make
Are a sentiment to us
Beyond this frightening ocean
Is where we want to be
It's where we want to be
It's where we want to be
I sleep with one eye open
And won't turn my back
I can't find it within myself to build the courage that I lack
This sand can't be turned to glass
The waves are turning far too fast
I'm swept away with the tide
But I always wonder why
I always wonder why
Yet these rocks always bounce off the walls
This reality feels so unreal
There's no shattered glass on the floor
I'm shouting at the top of my lungs
But I'm hearing next to no response
I thought there would be a way to escape
But I was wrong

And won't turn my back
I can't find it within myself to build the courage that I lack
This sand can't be turned to glass
The waves are turning far too fast

But I always wonder why
My body is confined
So to is my mind

All I feel is the cold

I can't find it within myself to build the courage that I lack
This sand can't be turned to glass
The waves are turning far too fast
I'm swept away with the tide
But I always wonder why
I always wonder why
