Winter Wonderland

Our special holiday week broadcast of Guest Star
Features the music of Jeff Alexander with his orchestra and chorus
And presents as its special guests, the twin stars of Light-up Time
Lovely Dorothy Kirsten and our holiday host Frank Sinatra

Thank you, Don, and hello friends
It's always a pleasure to be with you on the Guest Star series
And today's program is especially important to me
Because it marks the third straight year in which I've appeared on the Christmas week broadcast
And Dorothy and Jeff Alexander and I have planned a show, playing it safe all the way
Strictly loaded with favorites and fun-to-do
And we shall start off with me playing the part of the little man in the weather barometer
I pop out of the house with frost on my beard and predict light snow, followed by light of music

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight
We're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland

Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song
As we go along
Walking in the winter wonderland

In the meadow, we can build a snowman
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say, "Are you married?"
We'll say, "No, man
But you can do the job when you're in town"

Later on, we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
The plans that we made
Walking in the winter wonderland

Walking in the winter wonderland
