No Previews
Yeah
Welcome to No Previews, you know this the intro and all that
It's probably your first time hearing me
You know we live at Wash House Studios
Got your boy Smiley engineering
My boy Eraa in the building
Aight I'm talking too much, let's get right to it
Welcome to No Previews, the album is no sequel
Of what this'll bring you, or nothing like that
In fact, I'm just showing how I'm blacking on tracks
Bars is in tact, while plotting how to make an impact
Man I'm back, hard crack, no rehab, a relapse
Steady doing overtime, ain't no time to relax
And for some of y'all hearing me, this is your introduction
So I gotta make this first impression put me in discussions
Of a wide array of topics niggas constantly discussing
Who the best? Who got bars? Who the people really loving?
Feeling time is running out, will I ever get discovered?
Like damn son, you're aging, now a nigga really rushing
That last line wasn't hard? You niggas really bluffing
They say New York needs a savior, is that nigga really coming?
But truthfully, that's prolly 'bout the least of my concern
More infatuated with greatness, forward thinking with my turn
In a deceitful world of evil, showing the people what I learned
Never the one to take a handout, everything I get is earned
Been in college six terms, most important things I learned
Wasn't even in the class, is that worth thousands in loans?
But I ain't even worried dawg, 'cause we up next
And I made a hell of a living off them refund checks
I mean I ain't used to money, splurged, what you expect?
But I did save a bit, in my career I invest
So the pinnacle, I'ma show that I'm the one deserving of it
And you'll witness my whole journey as I reach the summit
So that line earlier, like "will I get discovered?"
Scratch that, I'ma be the one to put me on the surface
I want it all, put in work to be the best
I want respect, people's hearts, and commercial success
'Til looking down from my elevation, gotta be a scary sight
And I'm hot with my bars, they say I'm never fair in height
Damn a nigga scared of heights, but I'm still prepared for flight
Seen you niggas lose it all, so I take my own advice
It's only right that in this life we tryna live a paradise
You boys'll prolly sell your soul to the bidder with the highest price
But off that, 'cause I won't preach
Just know it's of significance when I speak
Gave you bars to hold you 'til the next time I see you
And I got some real material but this is No Previews
