Interlude

Sometimes a wide clear ocean can turn into
a puddle of mud under certain circumstances.
It succumbs under the pressure of fate
and bows to it's predetermined destiny.
Forgotten by the world it becomes
nothing more than a fleeting spec of dust.
Many of our lives are already cursed by the time we were born.
Born in the wrong families, born with a defect or simply unlucky.
But I say do not despair for there are better times to come.
You are not weak and you are not alone.
Let us not forget these unsung heroes fighting
for their future in a war unseen by the rest of us.
Let us lend a hand to these brave warriors to come back
stronger and give them faith so they may return to us one day.
Our brothers and sisters may you come home soon.
