Gave her a kiss goodbye a nice gesture

And in between left the scene to get groceries

Got a ticket on his way to make oyster stew
To feed her for lunch
But the store didn't have the ingredients f

Past and Present
Past and Present
Past and Present
Past and Present

He made it on time, but she was late
Off to a rough start, but things became
Better, the weather was nice
She smiled with each indelible bite

He left as the door shut
When she saw the truth but ignored it

Past and Present
Past and Present
Past and Present
Past and Present
