Wicked People (Psalm 37)

Don't worry 'bout the wicked people, don't be jealous of those who do wrong
For like the grass they'll soon fade away, like a flower they'll wilt and die
Trust in the Lord and do good and you'll receive your reward
Take delight in God and He will
Give you your heart's desires

All that you do, do it for God
Trust in Him and He'll help you out
Your innocence will shine like the dawn; your justice like the noonday sun
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently on Him
Don't worry 'bout them wicked people or their
Silly little schemes

The wicked draw their swords and string up their bows
To kill the oppressed, to kill all the poor
The Lord just laughs for He knows those silly fools just destroy themselves
