Man's greatest fear is fear of the unknown
Fear of fear itself, and fear to be alone
Fear to have a child and bring it up in this world
Afraid to be yourself, giving it all a whirl
Fear to learn the truth, not willing to live a lie
Fear to meet new friends, afraid to say goodbye
Fear of all your gods and if your soul will burn
A fear of what to give and expect in return
Fear is what you see when you're scared to believe
It's the scream in the night or the wind in the trees
The belief in a chance that you know is gonna crash
Kept in the dark and the demons of your past
Fear to speak your mind and know what it'll cost
Fear to see the end and know what you'll have lost
Fear of what will happen when it all disappears
How are we to live when controlled by our fears
