Truth

I see the sunlight on my face
As the sphere begins to rise
It's been a long way to today
But there's no small difference in the sky
I can't explain why I felt this way
I knew my life would never change
This is the place I knew when I was half this age
I'd sleep through all my pain
But now the light it's ceased its red
And gives off the shade of hope
Beyond the ruins of yesterday's past
I found the way to cope
It happened when they came knocking on my door
In the end the great government we have in store
I found the truth in my life
And what a relief it's been
We have good news all the time
Because the future we will live
It took a while to come around
But now I'm firmly secure
With the hope that I received it firmly rooted me sure
To the people like me the kid
Never give up the fight
It's not a long time we have to stay
So keep watch through the night
