Southern and McClintock, not a place that you would know
But there are barbecues on weekdays and the neighbors say hello
Right around the corner there are people rushing by
Guess they're caught up in all their worries, living in a lie

Laying on a blanket looking peaceful head to toe

Sneak in between the houses where there's laundry and a pool
You'll find Jason, Erik, Dan an Alex, they are pretty cool
If your football arm needs practice,
they will teach you all that stuff
You better watch out for the cat
though, cause her hunting skills are tough

Dancing through the garden drinking cocoanut water

If the wine bar doesn't please you and the sushi place is dark
You head north over the river, to Papago park
When the sun becomes a burden then go in the caves instead
There's a view for you to enjoy but be sure to watch your head

The bump you got was big but you looked happy when you fell

Laughing gas, the first time since the park when we were young
Sean and baby girl, made my head swirl, I almost bit my tongue
He handed me some words he wrote, made long ago he'd say
He sure knew how to compose his poems, in a tender way
