I'm starting too understand
Why the sun and the moon can't stand hand in hand
The night will fight the light all that it can
But the battle's not happening on land
There's a fight inside your mind
Two sides of which to you are blind
So hopefully you don't loose your sight
So you can try and win this fight

And I will stand here with my fear
And I'll try to stand alone
Cause the nights are so cold
And I can feel it, it in my bones
The fight inside my head
Will leave a part of me as dead
And I will lie here petrified
Because that part of me has died

I can see the light is shining down from above
The morning has come and I felt a new kind of love

A flame will try to light the way
But we've reach the end of day
The battle goes on and on
And I keep fighting but not for long
The space between my ears

I try to think and my eyes blink as I wait here in line
My soul still burns I can feel the chills going down my spine
