The Ugliest Pain

I have an ugly pain
The ugliest pain there could be
I remember when it all started
But not even God could have prevent me

I feel so ashamed for everything
Sickening as it may seem
For it is no fault of my own
But none the less the pain belongs to me

Oh, if a new heart was something I could buy
What I wouldn't give for a new memory
But I live with the ugliest pain
And every day that passes is another day
That it grows inside of me

I hide myself away
I don't wish to trouble you
Oh, how it would frighten you
Once that you began to see
In the light my ugly pain
Is merely a reflection of me
