Spring

The blood finally reaches my fingertips
The fresh water in my body replenishes
I have so much love suddenly left to give
As I walk, the waking hibernation finishes

I've never known a Spring like this before

My reflection flickers on a passing train
I catch the faces of passengers like April rain
Like the snow is melting, dripping from my shaky frame
And the weight is lifted as it all evaporates

I've never known a Spring like this before

You can see me in the light, it's because I'm always up at dawn
I'll be breathing in the life of Springtime

Spring is relief and reflecting
Spring is wrenching and warming
Spring is weightless and falling
Spring is love and it's lonely
Spring is floating and fleeting
Spring carries every passing storm
Spring is a Strawberry Swing
