Oh, how memories fade, as we fight against the weathering of time
Will the ancient cities
And vibrant horizons of millennia passed
Still yet be engraved in The minds of those who proceed us?
With all our might we try to best ourselves and conquer new heights

Will it all be for nought?
Will any of it be remembered?
An echo into infinite expanses
Breathless in the face of your great chronological finale
Standing at the edge of time

It is folly to wish to be amongst the stars
Forever an omnipotent eye
Ensuring that your heart to be not lost to oblivion
Can I not beg the hourglass to cease its unrelenting sands?
