Throwback
So let's start from the day I came to life
We were all happy and overall open-minded
It all changed when my father lied
To his wife, we got divided
My brother soon started to cry every night
My mom begun to cut herself with a kitchen knife
And my dad give up and said goodbye
To our house and never came by
I was two when my life turned upside down
I begun to question my life
Soon I realized that something was not right
When I could not sleep at night
I was two when my life turned upside down
I begun to question my life
Soon I realized that something was not right
And I could not sleep at night
Despite of my presence
Half of my family was taking some antidepressant
I was too young to philosophize about
People not being able to live without
Other people around and have autonomy
To choose themselves as their own role model
If that was the case maybe my mom would
Not sleep next to a whiskey bottle
My brother tried nicotine for the first
Time last week and I think he's alright
He keeps having scary Sundays and saying
It is very hard to normalize
My innocent self keeps saying
At school they tell me if you smoke you may die
But little i knew in my future
I will not be able to past forty-five
I was two when my life turned upside down
I begun to question my life
Soon I realized that something was not right
When I could not sleep at night
I was two when my life turned upside down
I begun to question my life
Soon I realized that something was not right
And I could not sleep at night (At night...)
