There's a flickering light
There's nobody around
The silence is loud
Keep your ear to the ground
A neon sign, buzzing the night
Electricity charged, an electrifying sight

There's a room with no view
There's no light on the stairs
The stench of pneumonia
Hangs around in the air
The portraits undress you
From the wall in the hall
Feel their breath on your shoulder
You can feel your skin crawl

How did I get here, How will it end
Shadows await you, around the next bend
Insanity stalks you every step of the way
You're damned if you leave here
And you're damned if you stay

Caught in a time warp, is this some kind of spell
I only stopped by for one night at the Dell Hotel
Will next morning come today
Clasp your hands get on your knees & start to pray...

There's a flickering light
Through a crack in the door
Heart beats to the footsteps
There's a creak on the floor
My cold breath engulfs me
