It's Just Me

I used to think that my home was the place I was born
And that dying was not waking up in the morning
I used to say that tomorrow would be like today
That things would always work out okay anyway

And suddenly I find myself here
Knowing that nothing is clear
Maybe there was some important point I missed
None of my classes really dealt with this

Here I am in a bathtub out on an open sea
And waves so big that I
Wish a whale would come and swallow me
Take me down to the bottom where the world is still
And it's just me

I used to ponder the meaning of life as a man
Now I think it's to hold on as long as I can
To the life that I live and the love that I feel
And stop myself from falling asleep at the wheel

And suddenly I find myself here
Knowing that nothing is clear
Maybe there was some important point I missed
None of my classes really dealt with this

Here I am in a bathtub out on an open sea
And waves so big that I
Wish a whale would come and swallow me
Take me down to the bottom where the world is still
And it's just me

And suddenly I find myself here
Knowing that nothing is clear
Maybe there was some important point I missed
None of my classes really dealt with this

Here I am in a bathtub out on an open sea
And waves so big that I
Wish a whale would come and swallow me
Take me down to the bottom where the world is still
And it's just me

It's just me
