Voyager

As the gails reshape the soil
I've been riding on rain clouds
Looking for someone like you
Leaping across the waves
Waiting under the heavens
Like there's someone about to fall through

I've swung under prows holding onto a thread
And paddled back to the hospital bed
Shipwreck after shipwreck

Down here in the underground
Where the creatures are drawn to powerless pawns
Behind these bones, there's a pulsating canyon
Dressed in bandages
And I guess I am prepared to take
Another lap around the world
To search below the strange terrain
To spin inside the swirl

As the mist visits the trail
I've been sleeping through thunder
Searching another like you
Tearing through walls of weeds
Waving over the masses
And the shoulders of giants are bruised

On top of the forest to let out a shout
It's worth every branch that I take to the crown
On the way down

Down here in the underground

It only comes around for conquerors
And golden gates
Blooms rise

Silhouettes can have a face
