Light Blue Lens
Each day when wake up and sigh
At mornings pinkish hue
I would be so happy if the world was tinted blue
So I sit on my bed, looking through a light blue lens
And I feel a little better for a while
All day long it would seem I wish my world would turn to green
And my heads a little fuzzy
From the road
And so should I cut my eyes, back and forth between the lines
And I think no one near would even know
So I dull my misplaced head by looking through dark green lens
And I feel a little better for a while
At mornings pinkish hue
I would be so happy if the world was tinted blue
So I sit on my bed, looking through a light blue lens
And I feel a little better for a while
All day long it would seem I wish my world would turn to green
And my heads a little fuzzy
From the road
And so should I cut my eyes, back and forth between the lines
And I think no one near would even know
So I dull my misplaced head by looking through dark green lens
And I feel a little better for a while
