Ticking

Well they took the LORD
And replaced his rule with a grand architect of their own
They pledged their souls to the bearer of light
And built him his very own throne
And the new world man took place of old faith
As the warmongers went on the attack
And their war on Jesus was won on the airwaves
Where they only broadcast the facts

Friends turned to foes and they rewrote the truth
And banished those who would not believe
Just another variation of deception and spite
That started with the serpent and Eve
And their priests wore lab coats
And their bible was science
Playing as if god were man
And they drugged us with cocktails that were not of nature
And not one good sheep took a stand

And I was caught in between
The light of the Lord and the fraudulent king
These things I wish I hadn't seen
Without God this world won't mean anything

Then came the pagan rituals
They played em on the tell-a-vision
Politicians and entertainers obscuring their satanic mission
And they uttered their pious words from on high
Condemning the folks of the LORD
Wringing their hands
And itching for the day that they could bring down their sword

There's an ugliness in the heart of these lands masquerading as truth
They come for your babies and push indoctrination
Brainwashing them through their youth
And the folly of man who couldn't see past his nose
Made him ripe for the devil's picking
And satan closed in on the sheep in their pens
With the clock of man's freedom ticking

And I was caught in between
The light of the LORD and the fraudulent king
These things I wish I hadn't seen
But without God this world won't mean anything
