"This is what I wanted to do"

The, the writing thing, I said, it's been one idea behind it

No, I knew it right then, that's what I set out to do, that was my idea
That's what I wanted to do with myself
That's what I wanted to do at that time and I kept following through on it
'Cause I was still fascinated by the idea

Anyway, 'cause you're dealing on a mass level, it's very exciting
These are things that can get played on the radio
And in the jukebox, in a bar
People will drink in a bar, listening to you, possibly in the background
There you are, I just am fascinated by that
And the implications of it to me are really awesome, you know?

So then, it's not such a surprise that
We're still sitting here talking about this, is it?
I mean, really if, not that you planned years ahead, but
The fact that you are still doing this is something that you wanna be doing
