Advice

I ask myself, for advice
Hoping I
Say something right
How can I hope to decide?
Knowing this could be the sway on my life
And as such every
Decision that I face weighs a tonne
So I confide chilling in my comfort zone
And my willingness to stray is at none
It could take a long night even like a month or so
To get a little braver than I was
But I was just a young guy I didn't even want to grow
Then I started feeling like I'd tapered off
Thinking I'm a young guy but I ain't getting younger though
I gotta decide to get at least one result
And nothing til I'm marked holds weight
I don't wanna decline unless I've been somewhere close
I'm gunning I won't park those brakes
Hoping I can re-find energy in trust and hope
I do it for the past me's sake
Telling me to steer right even on the longer road
There ain't a track that can't be shaped
Feeling like the journey takes ages
I hope that you're doing okay kid
Even though I really have to pace my story
I know that there's something out there waiting for me

I ask myself for advice, hoping I
Say something right
And though I try, not to lie
I'm saying it'll be alright, on the night
Or so I tell myself
Even though I know it ain't true
And I try to be honest with the facts
But if it had all been easy I could have been same yout
I wouldn't even bother with the raps
As I aged all the signs came through
All I needed was some polish and a map
To become the pioneer of my future
Told my demons better get off my back
I guess my growth spurt could have come sooner
But it would have skipped three or four chapters
I needed that time for improvement
Now I'm ready to be King of my actions
I pray life don't consume me
Before I get to master my stature
Cos the way life keeps alluding
Everything is heading for the rapture
Healing is only path I choose
I know that it's way past due
Even though I nearly had to change my story
I know that there's something out there waiting for me

I ask myself for advice, hoping I
Say something right
All that I can, do is guide
We don't know our wrong from our right
