Forgetting the Real

Time stretched in to lines
Made to reflect consciousness
Feel what I know to be real
Find that time does not exist

Particles they fuse together and multiply
It is what some folks like to call the gift of life
Flesh is but a vessel but for what we do not now
And we still believe our memories to all be in a row

When the sky breaks open wide
We may have the light it will provide

Quietly I'm listening
Letting answers find me
I'm letting go of what I know
For my assumptions blind me

Dreams bursting through seems
Connecting my brain to an infinite place
Reprieve from what I believe
Allows me to see a different way

Expanding as they bend around the gravity of thought
Ideas are like a beam of light they are seen but never caught
Complex calculations taking place in our skulls
A universe from nothing is still something to behold

When the sky breaks open wide
We may have the light it will provide
