Epiphany

It's the same grind, such a crime, not enjoying it
Uninformed, uninspired at the moment
I need a change, need the break others seem to get
Self disdain, such a pain, wanting a respite

Maybe I should just let it wash over me, allow this phase to pass naturally
It always happens gradually that the scale is tipped and suddenly
I understand it all now
At the top of a cycle of ups and downs
I'm having an epiphany

Listen child, don't be wild, you are pushing it
You've got to learn when to take and when to give
Do I force you, push you beyond your limit?
Am I trying to make you make up for what I missed as a kid?

We could be riding a slow wave of effortlessness
And bonding as kindred spirits
Over time it's happening gradually, then suddenly
I understand you now, seeing you clearly with no doubt
I'm having an epiphany

At the moment I'm finding a new sensation
Expanding on old vibration which is triggering revelations
On the cusp of understanding how
In the midst of struggle, you finally break out
It's like a game with the forces at play
This is an epiphany!
