Fate Induced Insomnia

I think I'm dealing with insomnia
Face screams exhausted
Still it seems as though
I want to be
I want to be
I want to be
Awoken

But I'd be a fool to cut all sources
To picture myself in front of a door that reads
Come in, sit down, relax
You've found the answer to all your problems

I'd rather wake up on the left side
Go downtown to West side
Praise myself for getting out of bed
I'd like to sleep soundly at midnight
Feel I've slept for days
I wish to feel content
Can't play pretend

This must be fate induced insomnia
The flight was short
Still it took years to land
I havе to be
I have to be
I havе to be
I'm broken

But I'd be a fool to cut all sources
To picture myself in front of a door that reads
Come in, sit down, relax
You've found the answer to all your problems

I'd rather wake up on the left side
Go down to West side
Praise myself for getting out of bed
I'd like to sleep soundly at midnight
Feel I've slept for days
I wish to feel content
Can't play pretend

But if I woke up on the right side
Could I call home?
I fear the things I'd do if nothing else
No it simply doesn't make sense
I've found a place to live
I shouldn't be so sad
Just made my bed

Though I might be crazy
Simply a loser who has no will to scream for help
And my neighbours hate me
They wish I'd lighten up and pour them a drink instead

I'd rather wake up on the left side
Go downtown to West side
Praise myself for getting out of bed
I'd like to sleep soundly at midnight
Feel I've slept for days
I wish to feel content
Can't play pretend

But if I woke up on the right side
Could I call home?
I fear the things I'd do if nothing else
No it simply doesn't make sense
I've found a place to live
I shouldn't be so sad
Just made my bed
