Rainy Day in Berlin

Why should I whisper
When they wouldn't stop
If I had a backbone, you call it
Then maybe I'd knock
What could I say to tell them
How much I have lost
With those who don't care about others
Don't expect much

Why do you waste valid time getting worked up?
It's not and never will be in your control
So watch for the drop

Cause it's a rainy day in Berlin
Yet the courtyard remains intact
Since they went running for miles
Be a shame if they came back
Only God knows what they would do
To be locked out in the dark
So I'll stay inside for the day
Who would want to be sad in that spot

What should I wish for
Whеn they have it all
Even with cups ovеrflowing
They seek to find more
What could I say to tell them
I have just enough
With those who don't like to feel bothered
You simply give up

Why do you waste valid time getting worked up?
It's not and never will be in your control
So watch for the drop

Cause it's a rainy day in Berlin
Yet the courtyard remains intact
Since they went running for miles
Be a shame if they came back
Only God knows what they would do
To be locked out in the dark
So I'll stay inside for the day
Who would want to be stuck in that spot
