Face is so gorgeous, it can't leave my mind
Always pray to the opens knowing that you're fine
We had everything for us including our pride
When you travel for fortune you run out of time
& the pain is so torturous it tears out my spine
All my thoughts feeling hopeless it didn't feel right
I was doing this for us it all felt sublime
Memories we had short lived I'll see you in time

Thinkin' about them days gone, piece of the canvas stained on
See all the things I'd trade once get to the gates, takin' a
Break, too late in my life now, wait, for the sake of the night now
Pace, chase all the way things change, lovin' too late

The tree that grew in my backyard, are all the pages that I'll write on
To let the bygones be bygones, 'cause my roots created these pylons
Sometimes I wonder if I'm wrong, when those leaves have turned into time bombs
So I keep to my decisions almost every single minute, and I pray to God they ain't lost

All these late nights, early days, I don't have to cover my face
Shouldn't have to shadow things that we say
Never gotta battle things in the way

Need more room in the empty space
