Journey for a Home
Dow-da bow-da Bow
Diggity dow-bow-bow
Dow-da bow-da Bow
Diggity dow-bow-bow
Dow-da bow-da Bow
Diggity dow-bow-bow
Dow-da bow-da Bow
Diggity dow-bow-bow
My journey started in Chanitris
It was a lonely city port
I do not recall seeing sailors
Although my friends would often report
The city was too far established
So I banished myself to sail the seas
But I can still recall Chanitris
With each salty lonely breeze
My vessel landed in Nurlea
A city-state my friend had found
It was a dirty muddy haven
Although the king offered me his crown
And for one summer felt established
A vagabond feeling back on track
But I was forced to flee Nurlea
When German troops came to attack
And I never went back
And we just keep on sailing on a breeze that continues to blow
And we just keep on scanning over horizons in search of a home
I've been told that all roads lead to Rome
Journey for a home
So I am on a journey for a home
Journey for a home
Garchilé was the place where I was offered shelter from the rain
With a queen sitting at the throne-who many thought was quite insane
But I must've worn out my welcome cause I was quickly dismissed
And I left that crazy island feeling quite depressed and dissed
So I tried to dock in Rasa cause I'd seen it in vacation guides
It was a very scenic beach city with roller coaster rides
But I never made any contact with the coastguard
That's the breaks
So now when I meet the people I just meet them with handshakes
Got a new boat in Nas Giodé
To try and start off fresh and bright
And I was singing karaoke
When Niji came into my sight
It was a scenic gorgeous country
I recall mountains with white streaks
And I still regret leaving Niji
But I just could not climb its peaks
One Night after many days at sea
A storm blew in
The ship began rolling and bouncing
Like a quark in the water
One of the masts broke too
The vessel was sinking
And with the sun going down
In city and village after town
I felt tears
I swore I could take no more
As I watched shore after shore
Disappear
Disappear
Journey for a home
Disappear
Journey for a home
Disappear
Journey for a home
Disappear
Journey for a home
Journey for a home
Journey for a home
Journey for a home
Diggity dow-bow-bow
