Christmas Without You

When I look out of the window on a crisp and frosty morning
And I peer into the sky and the stars are still shining
And every one of those stars is twinkling and sparkling
And just like each of those stars I'm surrounded by the cold and dark
Of the empty space

Musing and reflecting
At the house that once was home
Moving and projecting
Through my mind the thoughts are thrown
Now I'm on my own

Christmas without you just won't be the same
This year I'm just going to block out all the pain... again

(Memories - happy places)
Teddy's on the left side, Dolly's on the right
(Good times: smiling faces)
Your place at the head of the table, yeah, everything's all good to go
(Lifelines: tiny traces)
The tree has been decorated, just the way you like
(Love lies bleeding on the floor)
But nothing can be celebrated, until you get... until you get home
And I look at the door...

Christmas without you just won't be the same
This year I'm just trying to block out all the pain... again

Christmas without you just won't feel the same
Christmas is coming but hitting me hard once again
