There you go again refreshing all the pages that were left unread
Never to be read
Perhaps the memory of technology will fill in this role for me

Just how much I've been disconnected
But I think I've always been this way

It appears we're all insane
Chronically weaponizing shame
For if I were to stare into a mirror
I might gauge my own eyes
But still, we must feed the machine
To give our life some meaning
What's most important in our lives
Is how I'm perceived on the screen
