Drove by the café last night
Just to see the lights
But it was closed for the day
Thoughts lingering, I couldn't stay away

So I rode the streets
That you and I walked on

Houses lined with trees, and buzzing bees
The remnants of the summer
Shining rays as far as I could see

But under it all, I saw the hell
The burning fire, from which my anger fell

I met a girl
She seems like the type, and she feels so right

And doesn't kill me out of spite for themselves

I saw life
