Here I stand again on my two feet with my head in my hands
Struggling to speak or make sense of those things that you say
Those things that we've done have just left me just feeling so numb

It all used to make sense
Where did the sanity go
We took it as stagnant and then watched it go go go

I'm not ready to give up just yet

But these days things seem so complicated
Can't get my head in line
But I'll write my way out with my own words and a few chords
